I am a writer.
Books, weird stories, and creative people are my thing. I’m a bit of a sci-fi and fantasy nerd. I rarely watch movies about regular people. If there are no aliens, vampires, magic, or weird stuff, I’m probably not there.
I studied writing, which a lot of writers will tell you is a mistake. I’m working on several stories, trying to get them ready for publishing. I now have a full-time job as a writer, which is exciting, but draining. Keeping the corporate separate from the creative is a lot of work. But I’m still planning on selling a story or two and making creative writing my full-time career – á la Stephen King.
I’m no longer new to this blogging thing. I just need to do it more consistently. But it still feels a little like anyone on the internet is reading my Diary. Since my initial feeling that a lot of my blogs will probably be me bitching about work was true, I started the Angry Admins section. It’s a fun way for me to let loose with the things that bother me about work. Work is where I go to get beat up every day. That’s where Nixx n Dents comes in. This is how I vent. I plan to have more bits of my creative writing, my thoughts about random things, and okay, a lot of venting.
Latest obsession is the Grishaverse.
